We had an absolute blast this year filming the Norfolk and Norwich Festival. Our part in the festival kicked off a couple of months before May when the festival asked us to do a pre-launch trailer, but fun really began when we got to interview the launch team, Mark, Vickie, Helen & wire walker Chris Bullzini.
We got to interview Chris & Mark in the lovely Bicycle Shop. We found Chris’ passion for his art, his skill & his personal history & the history of wire walking fascinating.
We spent time with the team over the entire run-up to the launch night & our short teasers featured on social media for NNF & some of our clips found themselves on BBC & ITV news.
Look out for those teasers again in the Autumn when we create a longer edit. We owe a big thank you to Hexcam for the incredible aerials. The walk itself was (if we do say so ourselves!) spectacular. This is number 4 of our 5 films.
Over the 17 days we filmed a range of shows, in lots of different & beautiful city wide venues. From live African Dance music band Afriquoi to the amazing acrobatic circus Gravity & other Myths & the fabulous family friendly Garden party & even a modern magic show & so much more. We were wowed by everything we got to film & we even got to see our favourites from last year, Lords of Strut. And not forgetting the always fantastic atmosphere at the Spiegaltent, inside and out! Including the delicious food offerings from Namaste (best samosa’s in Norwich!) and Nomadi Pizza (try the anchovies special…yum!).
Bring on Norfolk and Norwich 2020!
